CHAPTER 8: no. 085 [to the end (say goodbye)...]

"To The End" by My Chemical Romance

He calls the mansion not a house but a tomb.
He's always choking from the stench and the fume.

The wedding party all collapsed in the room.

So send my resignation to the bride and the groom.
Let's go down!

The cycle is carrying itself out, and the end is near.
Self-imploded is what they've become.
Torn apart by bickering, side-taking,
and the overall size of their egos.
But how couldn't they see that this, that they would be their own undoing?

If you marry me,
Would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?

(So say goodbye) to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make

(And say goodbye) to the hearts you break

And all the cyanide you drank.

She keeps a picture of the body she lends.
Got nasty blisters from the money she spends.

She's got a life of her own and it shows by the Benz

She drives at 90 by the Barbies and Kens.

What's left are two pairs of the most ridiculous matchings ever made. Maybe they are destined for each other, because who else could they relate to, only someone who is as miserable as they are?

Lost in coma and covered in cake.
Increase the medication.

Share the vows at the wake.

(Kiss the bride)

If you marry me,
Would you bury me?

Would you carry me to the end?

(So say goodbye) to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make

(And say goodbye) to the hearts you break

And all the cyanide you drank.
(And say goodbye) to the last parade
(And walk away) from the choice you made

(And say goodnight) to the hearts you break

And all the cyanide you drank.

And as this cycle takes it's final toll, this group sees its demise. What's left is only time; time to start to dwindle away what self-respect they may have left. It won't work, because it was destined to fail from the beginning. But I won't dare say a word, for this is a lesson they must learn on their own..

With the group gone at least they'll have each other,
To the last parade
to bicker, and fight,
When the parties fade
to be chained to forever,
And the choice you made
and this is how it will be...
To THE END...

...and they lived happily ever after.

  1. wow. it was ambiguous, but i got the point. it wasn't as graphic as I thought it would be, but I understand that it's hard to find images of a dead bride. ;)

  2. I think this could have gone without being a chapter. You should have made SING a chapter instead, IMO.
